When a girl is scared of dogs, you don’t say IT DEPENDS. You say, OH HE’S THE SWEETEST THING, HE’LL BE SO NICE TO YOU. *meep* I totally understand tho. Our kitty had childhood traumas too, but my mom doesn’t get it and always complains about him. :(

Nope, I say it depends, because it depends. If I say he’ll be nice, and then someone comes to visit us and thinks he’s the sweetest thing and just goes all over him with all the “aww you’re so cute”-talking, he literally disappears if that happens because he doesn’t approve visitors to be so familiar with him. He is the one who comes to see if the visitor is okay, not the opposite. But we never really have problems with that because I always always always point that out to anyone who’s coming to visit. First rule: you never ever bend over him, he’s seriously scared of that. There’s something about the shadow and the fact that it’s threatening towards him, that people just are not allowed to do it. But he’s really not that bad, I mean he’s not attacking people or anything, it’s more of the fact that he’s just hiding under the table or something when there’s a visitor he doesn’t like, but has to allow because I’m allowing them. But mostly when someone comes to a visit, he carries all his toys to them and the visitor has to throw them to him all the time. That’s his way to get to know people. :’)
